Well, yesterday's transfer went well. We had three frozen embryos left over from our fresh cycle of IVF. One embryo was excellent, one good, and one that wasn't that great. I woke up yesterday pretty anxious because of the uncertainty of the survival of the embryos. My morning was filled with "Please Lord, don't let that phone ring!" Luckily, the phone didn't ring. When we got to the clinic, the embryologist quickly came to talk with us. She informed us that the excellent embryo made the thaw and so did the one that wasn't that great. The embryologist didn't really want to leave the one that wasn't that great by itself for later use because of its quality. Due to this, they started unthawing it on Sunday and it started growing! By yesterday, it was hatching which is a good sign! All in all, we transferred both of them and kept the good embryo frozen for later use.
Everyone was very positive and happy about the transfer. My doctor (Dr. Massey) even called me today to let me know of his optimism. Another doctor completed the transfer yesterday, so it was good to hear from my doctor today. For the next couple of days, I will be resting and praying!
Thank you so much for praying for us along this journey. It truly is sweet to see God's body at work.
1. Please pray the embryos grow and implant!
2. Please pray that on 12/27 I would get a positive test!
3. Please pray that our faith would be increased during this season.
